Camp Wai Lani
Rebrand and Environmental Design
Challenge
Rebrand and redesign an existing brand and wayfinding system. Assets will include a new logo, color palette, and font system along with a signage solution that will take a visitor from one point to another.
Process
The process included researching the existing brand and wayfinding system. Camp Wai Lani, a Hawaiian themed Girl Scout Camp located in Tarpon Springs, Florida, was chosen. Due to old branding, a very stereotypical version of Hawaiian culture was represented throughout the camp. For the new brand and wayfinding system a more natural depiction of Hawaiian culture is utilized by making use of wood and linocut textures.

Result
The rebranding of Camp Wai Lani and its wayfinding system gives the brand a more natural and refreshing look. With textured illustrations and a pale yet tropical color palette, a more natural depiction of Hawaiian culture is achieved.
