Ad Campaign

Challenge

Design an ad campaign. Assets include a collection of three ads along with three different depictions of ad displays.

Process

The process included researching the brand that ad campaign would be based on and creating twenty-five thumbnail sketches. I chose bloomscape, a company that sells plants and ships them in plant-safe boxes to ensure they reach their final destination in pristine condition. I wanted to create a set of ads that show easy it is to have plants shipped to your home through this brand. The final collection of ads will have a warm, encouraging, and playful tone.

Interactive Media Collection

This interactive ad collection would allow viewers to get a randomly selected plant that they should buy from the Bloomscape website. When walking up to the interactive ad, the screen would explain that they should tap the screen to have a plant randomly selected for them. After the plant has been chosen, a QR code will be displayed. When scanned, it will take the viewer to the product page for the plant that they were randomly given.

Interactive Media Collection

This interactive ad collection is intended to be viewed within Instagram stories and Twitter. The viewer would see a video showing all the different product options that Bloomscape offers and they would be able to pause the video at any time to see what plant they should buy through Bloomscape. The Instagram story would have an option for the viewer to swipe up to visit the company website and the Twitter post would have a link to the company website.

Digital Media Collection

This digital ad collection is intended to be viewed within a web browser. The respective sizing of each set of ads are 160x600px, 300x250px, and 300x600px.

Result

The created collection of advertisements for Bloomscape encourages all viewers to visit the brand’s website and see the large selection of plants that they offer alongside raising overall brand awareness.
